Sooo basically, my laptop is so slow right now that actually watching paint dry is superfun compared to the agonising process of using it to Photoshop.
This considered, I was a little worried about designing a party invite with only my pens to make it pretty… THEN I decided to quit being such a baby about it and drew this little picture as a header.
We’re having a party on a canal boat!
(Sorry if the image is a pixelated mess once uploaded)

Birthday card I drew for my Cousin Jack. I’m all about the promarkers again.
Epigramagain
Forgot to mention that Epigram featured my illustration on Student Elections on their website again! That’s nice innit.
Had a dog walk/ life discussion/ zine plan/ bread eating/ tea drinking session with Josh. This heap of scribbles and non-squares has resulted in some peace of mind and a kick in the inspiration that I’ve been needing for a while. So, its a good day today.
An old friend from school messaged me a little while back, wondering if I would help with a couple of illustrations for a presentation she was doing at work and I was more than happy to do it :)
Here’s what I came up with, it was nice to do something a different, little week-long commission. I need more of these.
There is now a link to my Twitter account to the right of this page. So feel free to follow me on there if you fancy catching gems such as, the time I had a dream that I was late for work (which in turn nearly made me late for work) or the time I wanted some new boots but couldn’t afford them.
I am a truly fascinating human.
Let’s backtrack a whooole lot! So on November 10th (last year!), me and my girl Kimmo did a Craft Fayre at our old school, Cedars Upper. It was a looovely day! Got chatting to lots of friendly people, sold a bit, had bacon sarnies, lotsa of tea as per.
You can see Kim in the first picture, the lovely little thang that she is, and then the sign which I hastily made and bout cried over hah, and Kim’s doodle of our catchphrase of the dayyy.
“E is for Egg” - Jen Springall
Umm sorry Alphabetters for the absolutely huuuge delay, I’ve been up to my eyeballs in clay for the past two months.
So my cousin Beth has come for the weekend and after getting super excited discussing what crafts were going to make tomorrow and many cups of tea, we’ve watched a bit of Rocky Horror. She’s never seen it before, she’s laughing but is suitably weirded out.

We will be selling a bucket load of stuff because we can never decide what to focus on, this will include…: illustration prints, clay things, jewellery, Christmas themed stuff, Christmas cards, stockings for dogs, doll accessories, tree decorations and oh SO MUCH MORE.
(Also featuring last years leftover stock at super cheap prices)
See you there! :D
So you may have been worried about where I have been these past few weeks, maybe you unfollowed me, maybe you hadn’t noticed I was gone, maybe you didn’t care. It’s probably a combination of the three.
But basically I’ve been right there in that chair, or behind a till. I’ve been surrounded by clay, paper, wire and glue for a long, long time, making lots of festive and not so festive items for our upcoming craft faires/fairs/fayres. And soon… So soon, I will show you the results! Our (Me and Kim) first fayre is this Saturday…
(I was nervous of posting WIP’s because I just was okay)
So that’s why I’ve been a bit quiet on the internet. And also why I’ve been a bit rubbish with the Fun Times Alphabet.. my Egg and my F (when we decide a topic) will be done soon!
Keep each other safe, keep faith, good night. X
